Meals are set in a home-style and relaxed atmosphere. They’re prepared in a buffet style, which you serve yourself when ready.

A ranch wife seasoned in creating meals for her large family as well as for branding and haying crews. Robbin will make sure your morning and lunch starts you out with enough food to get you by through your stay. You will be responsible for preparing your own breakfast, and packing your own lunches in the field.

Breakfasts are light consisting of dry cereals, instant oatmeal, eggs, pastries, bagels, and fruit. Along with everything else there will be assorted juices, drinks and coffee. These food items will be in your room for you to manage and use, as you like.

Lunch you will pack your own hardy sandwiches the night before. Also, along with sandwiches there will be fruit, chips, crackers, sweets, assorted juices, water and sodas. There are plenty of choices to pick from with no limit. We recommend you pack double the lunch you are use to. These food items will be in your room for you to manage and use, as you like.

Supper consists of a ranch style home cooked meal, which will be offered to you every night of your stay in the Oldaker lodge. This meal will consist of meats, salads, fruits, and desert dishes, along with crock-pot meals.

If you have any meal concerns or special meal needs please bring it to our attention before or when booking your hunt.

    - Food and non-alcoholic drinks are always available to you and plentiful. No one goes hungry. The biggest complaint we get is a person weighs more at the end of their hunt than upon arriving.
    - You must bring your own adult beverages. No going to the field without being full alert.

Although not required, gratuities are a nice way of thanking your guide, cook and others for a job well done. Reminder, this is fair chase hunting; weather conditions and animal activity are out of your guide’s control.
