Nebraska Bull and Cow Elk Hunting with Oldaker Outfitting

Prepare to feast your eyes on some prize Nebraska Elk hunting territory!

Our elk hunting is located in the Sioux and Dawes County units in the northwest corner of the state of Nebraska. Our “Hat Creek, and Ash Creek Unit” provides over 12,000 acres of prime elk territory covered with ponderosa timber, creeks, water holes, badlands, cultivated fields, and open prairie mixed with deep dark rocky canyons. The state of Nebraska opened our “Ash Creek Unit” in 2007, and we still have never had an elk taken off of the property, do to tag availability. In that unit we are waiting for someone who is interested to get selected, so he or she can harvest a magnificent trophy from that unit. With Nebraska being on a draw status for elk permits, it is tuff to draw a tag. We recommend for our visitors who are interested to never quit trying, build your points up, and give us a call if you ever get drawn for either of our units for a once in a life time opportunity for a trophy bull, or cow elk. This makes for a great experience that will provide our clients with a chance of bagging a trophy class bull elk anywhere from 200 to 350-plus. These magnificent animals can be pursued with the weapon of your choice from the end of September to the end of October. Cow elk season starts and ends the same time as the bull elk season. There is also a special season in December that lasts part of the month to harvest cow elk. You will have the option of hunting by stand, ground blind, and spot and stalk. We expect some great trophy size bulls to be harvested in both of these areas. Each and every year the Nebraska Game and Parks are issuing more elk tags, allowing for more opportunities to draw a tag.
